Dzi Beads World Knowledge Center
A practical library of Dzi knowledge —
patterns, symbolism, care, and traditional guidance
for choosing the right bead with confidence.
Homa Dzi presents a systematic framework for interpreting traditional Dzi bead patterns through the principles of force geometry, trigram mechanics, and state relationships. Drawing upon the Yi Jing, Shao Yong lineage teachings, Ba Zi, Eight Mansions, and classical Chinese cosmology, this work proposes that recurring Dzi geometries are not merely decorative motifs or symbolic images, but visual representations of fundamental force conditions operating within a field. Circles, waves, pearls, hooks, triangles, containers, lightning forms, and diamonds are examined as expressions of eight primordial force geometries. Through their relationship with numerical counts and trigram structures, these geometries generate distinct operational states that can be analyzed using a consistent mechanical framework. Rather than focusing on folklore, superstition, or fixed symbolic meanings, Homa Dzi explores how force accumulates, disperses, propagates, differentiates, stabilizes, activates, and transforms through structured relationships. The result is a practical language for understanding Dzi bead configurations, Personal Gua relationships, and the dynamic interaction between force and state. Combining traditional knowledge with a modern analytical approach, this volume offers collectors, practitioners, and students of Chinese metaphysics a new method for examining one of the oldest bead traditions in the world.
